Privacy.
This page tells you how I handle your information, so you know exactly what is going on.
Who I am.
I am Harry Ford Consulting Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 16735282. My registered office is 38 Haldane Drive, Cringleford, Norwich, England, NR4 7FZ. You can contact me at hello@harryford.me.
What I collect.
When you use the Quick Win Finder, I collect the answers you type or tap and, at the end, your email address. I use them to show you your result, to email it to you, and to send one reminder to book your free Clarity Session. Nothing else.
I do not keep a transcript of the chat. I keep your email address and your finished result. Your result lives at a private link made of random letters and numbers, so only someone who has the link can open it. Your email address is not part of that link.
Please do not type client names or other personal details into the chat. If you type a card, account or phone number, an email address or a password into the chat, my site removes it before the AI sees it.
I also keep one anonymous line for each finished run: the area of the business you chose, the kind of task, your team size and the type of result. It has no email address or name in it. I use these lines to see which problems people have most often.
To stop one person using the tool again and again, my site keeps a count of goes per hour and per day against a short scrambled code made from your internet address. The code cannot be turned back into the address.
The emails.
You get two emails at most: your result straight away, and one reminder about a day later to book your free session. If you book, the reminder is cancelled. To do that, the booking service tells my site the email address you booked with, and my site matches it against the address you gave the tool.
Both emails have a link that stops the reminder. You can also reply and ask me to stop.
I send these because you asked for your result and, when you entered your email address, I told you I would send one reminder. That is your consent, and you can take it back at any time with the stop link in either email.
The email screen also has a box, unticked, to say you would like the occasional useful email from me as well. If you tick it, my mailing list service sends you one email asking you to confirm, and you join the list only when you click the link in it. Once you have confirmed, I keep your email address, the area of the business you chose and the date, and I may send you occasional emails. Every one of them has an unsubscribe link, and you can also reply and ask me to stop. If you later book a Clarity Session, the list notes that, so I can leave you out of emails that ask you to book. If you do not tick the box, your email address is not added to the list and you get only your result and one reminder. Your tick is the consent for the list, and you can take it back at any time by unsubscribing.
Who else handles your information.
I use a small number of services. Each one only gets what it needs to do its job.
- Netlify hosts this site and stores your email address, your result and the anonymous run lines. Netlify is a company based in the United States, so your information may be handled there. Its terms include a data processing agreement.
- OpenRouter and the AI model provider write the chat's replies. Your answers in the chat are sent to them for that, and nothing else. I ask OpenRouter to use only providers whose policies say they do not collect or train on what they receive. OpenRouter is a company based in the United States, so your answers may be handled there. Your email address is never sent to them.
- Resend sends the emails. It receives your email address and the text of each email, and stores them in the United States. Its data processing agreement includes the standard contract clauses that cover sending information out of the UK and the EU.
- MailerLite holds my mailing list and sends the occasional emails, for people who ticked the box only. It receives your email address, your area and the date you ticked. MailerLite is a company based in Lithuania, and its data processing agreement is part of its terms.
- cal.com runs the booking calendar on your result page. It loads its own script and handles what you enter to book. When you book, my page passes it two things: the email address you gave the tool, so the form is already filled in, and the private link to your result, in a hidden field, so I can read your result before your session. Both become part of your booking. cal.com is a company based in the United States, so what you enter to book is handled there. Its calendar sets one short-lived security cookie, which lasts about half an hour and helps tell real visitors from automated ones.
If you use the microphone button to dictate, your browser's own speech service turns your voice into text. That service belongs to your browser's maker, such as Google for Chrome or Apple for Safari, not to me, and I never receive the audio.
How long I keep it.
I keep your email address and your result for up to 12 months after you last use the tool, then delete them. If you want them deleted sooner, ask and I will do it. The mailing list is separate: if you ticked the box, you stay on it until you unsubscribe or ask me to remove you. The clean-up runs by itself every day. The goes-per-hour counts described above are removed within two days. The anonymous lines stay, because they hold nothing that could identify you.
Cookies and storage.
This site does not use tracking cookies. Your browser keeps two things for the length of your visit only, using session storage, and forgets them when you close the tab: whether you chose night mode, and the email address you typed into the tool, so the booking form can be filled in for you. Neither is sent to me.
To see how many people visit and which pages they read, I use Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare says it counts visits without cookies and without storing anything in your browser or following you from one site to another. I see only totals, such as which page, which country and which device type. I do not use it to look at individuals.
Your rights.
You can ask to see, correct or delete what I hold about you, and to stop emails at any time. To do any of that, contact me at the address above. If you are not happy with how I have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
